To enroll, download the app in Google Play or the Apple App Store. Once installed on your device, existing Internet Banking users will be asked to enter an Activation Code. New users, can select the enroll for Internet Banking link. You can also LOG IN to your Internet Banking account. Place your cursor over the Welcome bar at the top of your screen and select “All Services and Settings” from the drop-down list. Then select Mobile Enrollment under the Banking Services section. You will be redirected to our Mobile Enrollment site. Please have your phone handy for fast enrollment. What is Mobile Check Deposit and how does it work? 

Mobile Deposit allows you to deposit a single check to your checking account by simply taking a picture of the front and back of the check with a camera-enabled smart phone. 

What kind of mobile device will work for Mobile Check Deposit and what are the device requirements? 

State Bank’s Mobile App will work on iPhone® and Android™ operating systems.

Are there enrollment eligibility requirements to use Mobile Check Deposit? 

User requirements include you must be enrolled in Internet Banking to enroll a checking, savings or money market account for Mobile Banking with Mobile Check Deposit. You must also demonstrate financial responsibility when using Mobile Check Deposit.

Is there a fee for Mobile Check Deposit? 

The Bank will not charge you a fee for this service.

Will I be charged by my mobile carrier for this service? 

Your standard wireless carrier charges may apply. You can check with your carrier for your plan features.

Do I need to endorse the check I am depositing? 

Before transmission, our Mobile App will direct you to appropriate endorsement requirements. Checks should be endorsed with ‘For Mobile Deposit Only” and your signature to be considered for deposit.

Is there a limit to the dollar amount that I can deposit using Mobile Check Deposit?

All items deposited via Mobile Check Deposit are subject to Bank review and/or approval. Limits are as follows: Daily Amount → $5,000.00.

What do I do with the check after I have submitted the image for deposit? 

All deposits are subject to review and/or final approval by the Bank. Processing days for Mobile Check Deposit are Monday-Friday, with the exception of Federal holidays. Please retain your check for 14 days and then securely destroy it.

Does an image of the check store on my phone’s memory?

No. Images of the front and back of the check are not stored on your phone’s internal memory for security purposes.

How quickly will the deposit show up in my account?

Mobile Check Deposits received before 3 pm Central Time on a Business Day are generally made available for use on the next Business Day. Provisional credit (memo-credit) will not be given for deposits made by Mobile Deposit. This means you will not be able to withdraw cash against the deposit until it is actually posted to your account. Please note all deposits are subject to review and/or final approval by the Bank. Please retain your check for 14 days and then securely destroy it.

Business days are Monday-Friday, with the exception of Federal holidays.

Can I use the same ID and password that I use for Online Banking? 

Yes, your Online Banking Login User ID and Password is the same for Mobile Banking. You must have our Mobile App to access Mobile Check Deposit.

Is it easy to take good pictures from a camera phone? 

Camera phone customers are generally familiar with their device and with taking a picture of a friend – or a check! The Mobile App has been designed to be simple for a customer, but also robust enough to catch errors. After a customer takes images of both the front and back of a check, the Mobile Deposit app will analyze the images for quality and will provide you with feedback almost immediately. You will be notified if the images have been submitted successfully and when the transaction is complete.

Which types of checks can I mobile deposit?

The following checks are not accepted for MCD:

– Check(s) totaling more than $5,000.00 per business day

– Checks payable to any person or entity other than the depositor

– Checks that have been previously deposited or have been converted to an image replacement document

– Checks containing any alteration or which the depositor should know or suspect are fraudulent or otherwise not authorized by the owner of the account which the check is drawn on

– Checks made payable jointly, unless deposited into an account in the name of all payees

– Checks that have been previously returned, stop payment or account closed

– Checks that were previously submitted through a mobile check deposit service offered at any other financial institution

– Post-dated checks or Stale-dated checks

– Money orders or Cashier’s Checks

– Foreign checks or checks not payable in U.S. currency.
